2007 FUNDING PROGRAM
September 10, 2007
At the present time, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program is planning to finance more than $520 million in low-cost loans for 92 clean water, drinking water and open space acquisition projects in its 2007 Program. Fifty-four of the projects target wastewater, stormwater and nonpoint source pollution by improving sewage treatment facilities, maintaining wastewater collection and conveyance systems and reducing pollution caused by stormwater runoff. Thirty-four projects will help municipalities and private water purveyors meet the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act and four land projects will help preserve open space that is protective of water quality.
Since the scope of the 2007 Program can change during the design and planning phase, this page will be updated to reflect current information.
